Having been through the pool building experience once before, I was very skeptical as my first experience was less than optimal. I remember meeting Gordon (who came highly recommended by a colleague of mine). I was surprised as I did not get the sales pitch but an honest assessment as to what kind of pool I should build. Being this was a new home, the back yard was just a dirt lot, so Gordon on several occasions visited my lot (during different times of day) to determine the best positioning for the pool based on the sun and shade. The process went exactly how Gordon said it would go. In fact, he was very hands on (the last pool builder I used never got his hands dirty). Everything from the rebar to the pool equipment installation. You know when a job is going well when the inspector from the Gas Company comments on the quality of the work. In his words, "this is the best gas line installation I've ever seen." Needless to say, my confidence grew as each phase occurred. Gordon prepared me in advance as to what to expect and when I needed to make a selection on pool/ tile products. Gordon always talked about the quality of his product. So the proof in the pudding for me occurred shortly after the concrete was poured for the deck. The winds kicked up and as a result, there were some hairline cracks in the concrete. They were so small that I had a hard time seeing them. So what does Gordon do, he has his team come in and break out a portion of concrete that was about 20ft long by 4ft wide. He had it re-poured (at no additional cost) and to this day, you would never know the difference. In fact, there is not one crack in the concrete to date and the pool was built over 3 years ago! Aside from his work quality, I found Gordon and his team to be very professional. Moreover, they always cleaned up when they were done and the end product was absolutely fabulous! I will admit, he wasn't the cheapest contractor, but not the most expensive either. However, his quality surpasses that of pools I have seen where my friends spent a great deal more and received a great deal less. I would highly recommend Gordon!

The timeliness of the project, adhering to the estimated timetables, your constant availability and presence, the professionalism of the crews - from the rough-in to the tile work to the pavers for the decking, all was as promised; professional and correct. We especially appreciate the extra time given to the decision to blend the pool decking with our existing block wall. The outcome is beautiful and ties in brilliantly with the house.
